[Problem 2]

-> Girls = 226

-> Boys = 295

-> Girls with glasses = 104

-> Boys with glasses = 210

-> Difference of total boys and girls = 69

-> Difference of boys with glasses vs without glasses = 85

-> Difference of girls with glasses vs without glasses = 122

-> <em>It is hard to create a table over Brainly</em>

[Problem 4] Answer is 4.3

-> To find the mean absolute deviation, we will find the mean of the data and then see how far away each point is, and then find the mean of those values

-> Finding mean: \frac{38+46+52+44+47+55}{6} = 47

-> All the values (all of the values will be absolute values, why the word absolute is there, so ignore all negative signs!)

38 - 47 = 9

46 - 47 = 1

52 - 47 = 5

44 - 47 = 3

47 - 47 = 0

55 - 47 = 8

-> Then, we will find the mean of these values: \frac{8+0+3+5+1+9}{6} = 4 \frac{1}{3}

->  4 \frac{1}{3} = 4.33333 and when rounded to the nearest tenth is 4.3

Have a nice day!

     I hope this is what you are looking for, but if not - comment! I will edit and update my answer accordingly. (ノ^∇^)

MIDPOINT &amp; DISTANCE help
tamaranim1 [39]

Answer:

<h2>M(-6, 4)</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

The formula of a midpoint of (x₁, y₁) and (x₂, y₂):

M\left(\dfrac{x_1+x_2}{2},\ \dfrac{y_1+y_2}{2}\right)

We have two points (-3, 7) and (-9, 1).

Substitute:

x=\dfrac{-3+(-9)}{2}=\dfrac{-12}{2}=-6\\\\y=\dfrac{7+1}{2}=\dfrac{8}{2}=4

What is the length of the longer side in this triangle
Elena L [17]

Did you notice the little box with corners marked in the angle down at the bottom ?
That angle is a right angle, and <em>this triangle is a right triangle</em> !

This piece of information is a big help.  It breaks the problem wide open.
You know that in order to find the longest side of a right triangle . . .

-- Square the length of one short side.
-- Square the length of the other short side.
-- Add the two squares together.
-- Take the square root of the sum.

One short side=48.           Its square = 2,304.
The other short side=48.  Its square = 2,304.
Add the two squares:        2,304 + 2,304 = 4,608

The square root of the sum = √4,608 = <em><u>67.88</u></em> (rounded)

Use properties of addition to find each sum. Identify the property that you used
9966 [12]
Well you would move the order around to 13+7+29 and that would be the commutative property
