In a wheatstone bridge three out of four resistors have of 1K ohm each ,and the fourth resistor equals 1010 ohm. If the battery

voltage is 100V,what is the approximate value of the open circuit voltage ? If the output of the bridge is connected to a 4 K ohm resistor, how much current would flow through the resistor?

Answer:

  248.756 mV

  49.7265 µA

Explanation:

The Thevenin equivalent source at one terminal of the bridge is ...

  voltage: (100 V)(1000/(1000 +1000) = 50 V

  impedance: 1000 || 1000 = (1000)(1000)/(1000 +1000) = 500 Ω

The Thevenin equivalent source at the other terminal of the bridge is ...

  voltage = (100 V)(1010/(1000 +1010) = 100(101/201) ≈ 50 50/201 V

  impedance: 1000 || 1010 = (1000)(1010)/(1000 +1010) = 502 98/201 Ω

__

The open-circuit voltage is the difference between these terminal voltages:

  (50 50/201) -(50) = 50/201 V ≈ 0.248756 V . . . . open-circuit voltage

__

The current that would flow is given by the open-circuit voltage divided by the sum of the source resistance and the load resistance:

  (50/201 V)/(500 +502 98/201 +4000) = 1/20110 A ≈ 49.7265 µA

What’s the difference between quality and quantity
Lesechka [4]
Quality is how good something is. Like how good the material is. Like the quality of the IPhone X is better than the quality of the iPhone 6s + because it has more features and can sustain better hold
Quantity is how much. Like the quantity of the m&ms were split evenly.
I dont know exactly if that makes sense but there ya go

A particle, originally at rest and located at point (3 ft, 2 ft, 5 ft), is subjected to an acceleration a = {6ti + 12t^2k} ft/s^
Sindrei [870]

Answer:

The particle's position at t = 2 is

r = (11ft, 2ft, 21ft) = (11, 2, 21) ft

Explanation:

r₀ = (3, 2, 5) ft

a = (6t, 0, 12t²) ft/s²

a = dv/dt

dv/dt = (6tî + 0j + 12t²ķ)

dv = (6tî + 0j + 12t²ķ) st

Integrating the left hand side from 0 to v (the particle was originally at rest) and the right hand side from 0 to t,

We obtain,

v = (3t²î + 0j + 4t³ķ) ft/s

v = dr/dt

dr/dt = (3t²î + 0j + 4t³ķ)

dr = (3t²î + 0j + 4t³ķ) st

Integrating the left hand side from r₀ (the original position) to r and the right hand side from 0 to t,

r - r₀ = (t³î + 0j + t⁴ķ) ft

r = (t³î + 0j + t⁴ķ) + r₀

r = (t³î + 0j + t⁴ķ) + (3î + 2j + 5ķ)

At t=2s, t³ = 8 and t⁴ = 16

r = (8î + 0j + 16ķ) + (3î + 2j + 5ķ)

r = (11î + 2j + 21ķ) ft

r = (11ft, 2ft, 21ft)

Hope this helps!
