Answer:

Potential energy:   It is an energy stored in an object due to its position.

Chemical energy: It is an energy stored in a bonds of a chemical compound and this energy is released during the reaction in the form of heat.

Elastic energy: It is a stored potential energy in an elastic object when subjected to any deformation or change in shape.

Gravitational energy : It is an energy possessed by an object due its position in a gravitational field.

Electric energy: Energy due to flow of charged particles. It is a type of a stored potential energy due to relative position of charged particle .

Nuclear energy  : it is an energy stored in a nucleus of an atom. This energy kept the particles present inside the nucleus binded together.

Static electricity: It is  an electricity which arises due to presence of imbalance in charge within or on the surface of the material.

Transfer of some quantity of energy:

Heat energy: Transfer or flow of energy from one object to another in form of heat. This transfer is due to difference in temperature of two objects.

Electromagnetic energy:  It is an form of energy emitted by the magnetic field and electric field vibrating perpendicular to each other while propagation of the electromagnetic wave. Energy transfer takes place in from of electromagnetic wave.

Sound energy  ; it is the energy produced by the vibration of sound waves. the energy transferred from one substance to another in form of sound wave.

Kinetic energy: Its an energy possessed by an object due its motion.

Movement of mass  : It is an energy which leads to movement of the mass of an object.

Thermal work : It is an energy posses by the body due to movement of the particles.

If the pressure on the surface of water in the liquid stato
Novosadov [1.4K]

The water will boil at C) 80°C

<h3>Further explanation</h3>

Given

Vapour pressure of water = 47 kPa

Required

Boiling point of water

Solution

We can use the Clausius-Clapeyron equation :

\tt ln(\dfrac{P_1}{P_2})=\dfrac{-\Delta H_{vap}}{R}(\dfrac{1}{T_1}-\dfrac{1}{T_2})

Vapour pressure of water at boiling point 100°C=101.325 kPa

ΔH vap for water at 100°C=40657 J/mol

R = 8.314 J/mol K

T₁=boiling point of water at 101.325 kPa = 100+273=373 K

Input given values :

\tt ln\dfrac{101.325}{47}=\dfrac{-40657}{8.314}(\dfrac{1}{373}-\dfrac{1}{T_2})\\\\0.7682=4890.1852(\dfrac{1}{373}-\dfrac{1}{T_2})\\\\0.0001571=(\dfrac{1}{373}-\dfrac{1}{T_2})\\\\\dfrac{1}{T_2}=0.00283\rightarrow T_2=353~K=80^oC

Liquid bromine is added to sodium iodide crystals
gulaghasi [49]

The following chemical reaction will occur:

Br₂ (l) + 2 NaI (s) → 2 NaBr (s) + I₂ (s)

Explanation:

Because the bromide (Br₂) have a higher reactivity than iodide (I₂) it is able the remove the iodide from its salts. So the bromide will react with sodium iodine (NaI) to produce sodium bromide (NaBr) and iodine.

The chemical reaction is:

Br₂ (l) + 2 NaI (s) → 2 NaBr (s) + I₂ (s)

where:

(l) - liquid

(s) - solid
