The range of the dataset = 47

What is the range of a dataset?

The range of a set of data is the difference between the greatest number and least number

The given data set is:

{14, 25, 61, 18, 30, 32, 28, 45, 21}

The greatest number = 61

The least number = 14

The range of the dataset = Greatest Number - Least Number

The range of the dataset = 61  -  14

The range of the dataset = 47

Answer:

47

Step-by-step explanation:

The range is the difference between the lowest and highest number

In the data set {14, 25, 61, 18, 30, 32, 28, 45, 21}  14 is the lowest and 61 the highest so 61 - 14 = 47

Answer:

7√3

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the following information,

Short = 7 = Opposite

Angle of elevation =30 degrees

Required

Long (Adjacent)

Using SOH CAH TOA identity

tan theta = 7/long

tan 30 = 7/long

long = 7/tan30

long= 7/1/√3

long = 7√3

Hence the long is 7√3

Find out the length of each side. For the slanty sides, you can do this by using the formula

d = \sqrt{(y2-y1)^{2} +(x2-x1)^{2} }

For the straight sides (like the one on the bottom and the one on the left), just use simple subtraction.

Add up all 4 sides and you get the perimeter. You should get 20, 15, 5\sqrt{5} and 5\sqrt{26}.  The total is 35 +  5(\sqrt{26} +\sqrt{5} ).
