A benefit concert is being held at a nearby venue that charges $500 for rental of the space. Additionally, they are charging $5

per person who attends. The costs are to be split up between all of the attendees except there are 5 members of the family that the event is benefiting, so you do not want them to have to pay. How many people would need to attend in order for the ticket price to be $15?
Set up and solve an equation to determine this ticket price.

8 is the answer. Because if you multiply 5 x 3, its 15, so that gives you the 15 dollar ticket price, and add the 5 that didnt need to pay, wich is 5 + 3 = 8.

Have a great day, and sorry if i got it wrong. <3

Given f (x) = 1/4x-3/4<br> Find f^-1
Snowcat [4.5K]

The inverse of a function f(x) is f⁻¹(x) = 4x + 3 after using the concept of the inverse of a function.

<h3>What is a function?</h3>

It is defined as a special type of relationship, and they have a predefined domain and range according to the function every value in the domain is related to exactly one value in the range.

We have a function:

\rm f(x) = \dfrac{1}{4}x-\dfrac{3}{4}

To find the inverse of a function:

Interchange the f(x) and x

f(x) → x

x → f⁻¹(x)

\rm x = \dfrac{1}{4}f^{-1}(x)-\dfrac{3}{4}

Make the subject f(x);

\rm \dfrac{1}{4}f^-^1(x)=x+\dfrac{3}{4}

\rm f^-^1(x)=4x+3

Thus, the inverse of a function f(x) is f⁻¹(x) = 4x + 3 after using the concept of the inverse of a function.

Now imagine that instead of walking along the path 1→2→3→4→1, ann walks 80 meters on a straight line 33∘ north of east starting
stealth61 [152]

Answer:

Anna's walk  as a vector representation is 80\cos 33^{\circ}\hat{i}+80 \sin33^{\circ}\hat{j} and refer attachment.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the origin be the point 1 from where Ann start walking.

Ann walks 80 meters on a straight line 33° north of the east starting at point 1 as shown in figure below,

Resolving into the vectors, the vertical component will be 80Sin33° and Horizontal component will be 80Cos33° as shown in figure (2)

Ann walk as a vector representation is 80\cos 33^{\circ}\hat{i}+80 \sin33^{\circ}\hat{j}

Thus, Anna's walk  as a vector representation is 80\cos 33^{\circ}\hat{i}+80 \sin33^{\circ}\hat{j}
