The relationship between pressure and volume, when moles and temperature of a gas are held constant, is: PV = k. We could say th
pochemuha
You can say that if the volume of the gas is halved, the pressure is doubled.

The expression shows that pressure and volume are inversely proportional if temperature and amount of gas is held constant. This means that if volume goes down the pressure needs to go up. That also means that in order to maintain the K value, if pressure is doubled the volume needs to be halved and if the pressure is halved the volume needs to be doubled.

This relationship only works if we assume everything else (Temperature and moles of gas) to be constant.

How many grams of magnesium metal will react completely with 4.8 liters of 5.0 M HCl? Show all of the work needed to solve this
vovikov84 [41]
V=4.8 L
c=5.0 mol/L
M(Mg)=24.3 g/mol

1) n(HCl)=cv

2) m(Mg)=M(Mg)n(HCl)/2

3) m(Mg)=M(Mg)cv/2
    m(Mg)=24.3*5*4.8/2=291.6 g

How many significant ZEROES are represented in the following number?

0.000004000
Igoryamba

Answer:

3 significant zeroes

Explanation:

To count the number of significant figures, you must pass the zeroes until you reach a non-zero value. Once you reach it, count anything after that as significant values, including the non-zero value itself.

The number has 4 significant figures with 3 significant zeroes.

Hope this helps!!!
