The fibers have lost electrons giving them a positive charge. The rubber gained electrons giving it a negative charge. The positively charged fibers are now attracted to the negatively charged balloon. The negatively charged balloon attracts the paper.

If a substance is found to be reactive flammable soluble and explosive what observation is also a physical property
Ainat [17]

Answer:

 • soluble

Explanation:

Chemical properties only manifest when a chemical reaction occurs. Being reactive, flammable and explosive are chemical properties, because they involve chemical reactions: the substances are changed; the chemical bonds of some substances, called reactants, are broken, and the chemical bonds are created, forming other substances, called products.

Solubility is a physical property because during dissolution no new substances are formed. You can prove it when the solvent evaporates leaving behind the same original substance.

The the observation that the substance is soluble is describing a physical property.

A fisherman is fishing from a bridge and is using a "44.0-N test line." In other words, the line will sustain a maximum force of
vitfil [10]

Answer:

a) 4.485 kg b) 3.94 kg

Explanation:

since the maximum tension the line can stand is 44 N and for question a the speed is constant (acceleration must be zero since the velocity or speed is not changing), F(tension) = mass * acceleration due to gravity (g) .

44 = m * 9.81m/s^2

m = 44/9.81 = 4.485kg

b) F(tension) = ma + mg ( where a is the acceleration of the body and g is the acceleration of the gravity)

44 = m (a +g)

44 = m (1.37 + 9.81)

44/11.18 = m

m = 3.94 kg

Is 40 mph possible to run?
Bogdan [553]

NO

The likelihood of reaching 40 miles per hour is very slim. Several factors are related to how quickly somebody can run, which is why only one person has ever run 28 miles per hour.Catch a sprinter smashing a speed record and they look like they could keep up with a car chase. 40 MPH: The fastest speed humans can run. The current fastest human in the world is Usain Bolt, who can run at nearly 28 miles per hour.Steve in Davis, Calif. So far, the fastest anyone has run is about 27½ miles per hour, a speed reached (briefly) by sprinter Usain Bolt just after the midpoint of his world-record 100-meter dash in 2009.

MrRa [10]

Answer:

The answer is C.

Explanation:

Every point mass attracts every single other point mass by a force acting along the line intersecting both points. The force is proportional to the product of the two masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them. In magnitude, the force they apply each other is the same. Therefore, the force that the windshield exerts on the bug and the force that the bug exerts on the windshield are the same magnitude.
