What is a company's obligation to contribute to the sustainability of natural resources?
Alexxandr [17]

Answer:

Under law? Depending where and what biz is there is NO obligation, or little if any in most cases.

Under morals, aka higher principles most bussinesses would just have to close.

Under Biblical principles, to subdue is one thing, to destroy is another. Much can be done but won't be because of cost/politics over logic. Sometimes that too is a natural resource, it's called freedom and or liberty and someone is using a lever for an alternate motive just saying it's for the 'trees’. Other cases it's plain and clear destruction for profit and nothing is said.

Record forest fires have occurred in west, some of it because environmentalists interfered with forest management to the point of cost in court and in the field leaving nothing to do. Areas that needed undergrowth and deadwood removed were kept untouched decades. Red tape and global warming made fuel stack up.

The two organisms displayed what is known as co-evolution.

Co-evolution

It is the reciprocal changes that take place in organisms of different species based on how they interact with each other.

Since yucca flowers and yucca moth change in response to changes in either one of them, they are said to co-evolve.

Co-evolution is a process that takes place gradually, over a long period of time. Without co-evolving, one of the two interacting organisms suffers and may end up going extinct or find another way to adapt.

Explain why the formation of abscission layer causes sugar to accumulate in leaves.
kramer
Abscission layer is the layer of cutinized parenchyma cells that develops in the abscission zone. The abscission zone form across the base of the plant part, where the break eventually occurs. During the photosyntesis chlorophyll using sunlight produces sugar and storches which are used as food by plant. And sugar accumulate in leaves.
