1.) As of yet we have just begun to take samples from children but seeing as how HIV is spread as an STD or by coming in contact with an infected persons blood it seems unlikely many children will be affected.

Reflection 1.) I believe that the most important step in stopping or at least slowing the spread of HIV is what the EPA is doing. They are helping people understand how to stay safe while the FDA is conducting research that will help in the future. In the present tense it seems that for all of us knowing how we can protect ourselves is more important then future research that will only help our grandchildren.
