The circulatory system is composed of blood, vessels and the organs like the heart. The immune system and the excretory system will be affected.

What are the immune system and the excretory system?

The immune system is the protective system that provides immunity to the body by fighting pathogens. The cells of the circulatory system like white blood cells play a major role in fighting pathogens.

The excretory system includes the kidney that majorly functions in the purification of the blood and will get affected by the circulatory system. No filtration and circulation of the blood and its components will occur.

Therefore, immune and excretory systems will be affected by the circulatory system.

A system that would be impacted is the kidneys because they can’t filter blood to produce urine. another system is the immune system would also be impacted because the circulatory system causes blood flow & blood flow kills healthy cells which prevents infection at the site of the injury.

Determine the oxidation states of the elements in the compounds listed. None of the oxygen-containing compounds are peroxides or
Ahat [919]

Answer :

Oxidation number or oxidation state : It represent the number of electrons lost or gained by the atoms of an element in a compound.

Oxidation numbers are generally written with the sign (+) and (-) first and then the magnitude.

Rules for Oxidation Numbers are :

 • The oxidation number of a free element is always zero.
 • The oxidation number of a monatomic ion equals the charge of the ion.
 • The oxidation number of Hydrogen (H) is +1, but it is -1 in when combined with less electronegative elements.
 • The oxidation number of oxygen (O) in compounds is usually -2.
 • The oxidation number of a Group 17 element in a binary compound is -1.
 • The sum of the oxidation numbers of all of the atoms in a neutral compound is zero.
 • The sum of the oxidation numbers in a polyatomic ion is equal to the charge of the ion.

Now we have to determine the oxidation state of the elements in the compound.

(a) H_2SO_4

Let the oxidation state of 'S' be, 'x'

2(+1)+x+4(-2)=0\\\\x=+6

Hence, the oxidation state of 'S' is, (+6)

(b) Ca(OH)_2

Let the oxidation state of 'Ca' be, 'x'

x+2(-2+1)=0\\\\x=+2

Hence, the oxidation state of 'Ca' is, (+2)

(c) BrOH

Let the oxidation state of 'Br' be, 'x'

x+(-2)+1=0\\\\x=+1

Hence, the oxidation state of 'Br' is, (+1)

(d) ClNO_2

Let the oxidation state of 'N' be, 'x'

-1+x+2(-2)=0\\\\x=+5

Hence, the oxidation state of 'N' is, (+5)

(e) TiCl_4

Let the oxidation state of 'Ti' be, 'x'

x+4(-1)=0\\\\x=+4

Hence, the oxidation state of 'Ti' is, (+4)

(f) NaH

Let the oxidation state of 'Na' be, 'x'

x+(-1)=0\\\\x=+1

Hence, the oxidation state of 'Na' is, (+1)

PLEASE HELP WITH #1 AND #2 ASAP!! PLEASE
Grace [21]
1. Since the track is extended outwards from lane one, the other lanes will be a longer distance then lane one. So the runners in the lanes (2,3,4,5,6,7,8) will start ahead of the runner in lane one so they all run the same distance. 2. The displacement of runner 1 would be that since they are farther back then they will have to run top speed in order to catch up to the other runners, especially runner 8 since it seems like they are so far ahead. This isn’t necessarily the same for all the runners because runner 1 is the farthest back and is at a disadvantage since they are in the inner lane and not the outer lane. I reallyyyy hope this helped :)

10 moles of hydrogen are allowded to react with 6 moles of oxygen .How much water molecules are obtained?
DiKsa [7]

Answer:

Since 2H₂ + O₂ ---> 2H₂O

We need 2 moles of hydrogen for each mole of oxygen

So, we need 2(6) = 12 moles of H₂ but since we only have 10 moles,

H₂ is the limiting reagent

So since 2 moles of H₂ gives 2 moles of water,

10 moles of H₂ will give rise to 10 moles of Water with 1 mole of remaining oxygen
