Answer:

C

Step-by-step explanation:

Pythagorean theorem states that

a^2+b^2=c^2

so in order to get one of the sides you need to determine the measurements of the right triangle

the bottom of the triangle :4

the side of the triangle : 7

add now just feel in the letters with these numbers

4^2+7^2= sqrt(65)

therefore ur answer is C

in the previous question, what is the distance from a side of the triangle to the incenter? can someone also explain how to get
denis23 [38]
In centre is the centre of a circle that is inscribed in a triangle, called the incircle, i.e. circle is tangent to all three sides AND located inside the triangle. An incircle is roughly sketched in the accompanying diagram.

Since all radii of an incircle are equal, we have
4x-1=6x-5
Solving for x,
6x-4x=5-1
x=2
consequently, distance from incentre to each side of the triangle is
4(2)-1=7
check 6x-5=6(2)-5=7... checks.

Answers:
The value of x = 2
The distance from incentre to side of triangle is 7

Find the area of the shaded region.
8 in
24 in
zloy xaker [14]

Answer:

96 in^2

Step-by-step explanation:

area of rectangle: 24*8=192

Area of triangle: (1/2)*base*height

= .5 * 8 * 24

=192/2

=96

area of shaded=rectangle - triangle

= 192-96

which is also just 192/2

so it is 96
