<h3>What are the three equations of motion?</h3>

There are three equations of motion given by  Newton

The first equation is given as follows

v = u + at

the second equation is given as follows

S = ut + 1/2×a×t²

the third equation is given as follows

v² - u² = 2×a×s

As given in the problem, An antelope moving with a constant acceleration of 2m/s2 covers crosses a point where its velocity is 5m/s

distance  =? meters

initial velocity(u) = 5  m/s

acceleration(a) = 2 m/s²

By using the second equation of motion given by newton

S = ut + 1/2at²

u= 5  m/s , a= 2 m/s² and t =6 seconds

S = 5*6 +0.5*2*6²

  =66 m

to calculate the velocity after 6 seconds by using the first question of the motion

v = u + at

v = 5 + 2*6

v = 17 m/s

Thus, the distance covered is 66 m and the velocity would be 17 m/s

A 59.3 kg diver jumps off a board
ser-zykov [4K]

The board is 2.50m high.

Why?

We can calculate how high was the board applying the Law of Conservation of Mechanical Energy. This Law states that the mechanical energy (kinematic and potential) will be conserved during the motion.

It can be described with the following formula:

E_{M_{1}}=E_{M_{2}}\\\\PE_{1}+KE_{1}=PE_{2}+KE_{2}

PE=m*g*h\\KE=\frac{1}{2}m*v^{2}

At the top of the boar, the kinetic energy is equal to 0.

At the water, the potential energy is equal to 0.

So,

PE_{1}=KE_{2}\\\\m*g*h=1450J\\\\59.3kg*9.8\frac{m}{s^{2}}*h=1450J\\ \\h=\frac{1450J}{59.3kg*9.8\frac{m}{s^{2}}}=2.50m

Hence, we have that the board is 2.50m high.

Have a nice day!

Voices of swimmers at a pool travel 400 m/s through the air and 1,600 m/s underwater. The wavelength changes from 2 m in the air
Nata [24]

The frequency of a sound is whatever frequency leaves the source. It doesn't change.

Voiced of swimmers at the pool don't change frequency in or out of the water. Only their speed and wavelength change.

Explain the following observation referring to the appropriate process of heat transfer in each case
tigry1 [53]
If the two cups are the same/equal in all regards the spoon makes the difference in heat loss. Metal spoon is a good conductor, heat conducts up the spoon handle. Radiant and convection losses occur in the surrounding air. Metal becomes a “heat sink”.

Spoon will feel warmer to the touch than a pottery or foam cup that is not a good conductor.
