pH is the potential of the hydrogen in the aqueous solution. The pH of the hydrosulfuric acid is 0.6.

<h3>What is pH?</h3>

pH is the hydrogen or the hydronium ion concentration in the aqueous solution. The formula to calculate pH is given as,

\rm pH = \rm - log [H^{+}]

Since hydrosulfuric acid is diprotic the concentration of the hydrogen ion will be:

\begin{aligned} \rm [H^{+}] &= 2 \times 0. 571 \;\rm M \\\\&= 1.142\end{aligned}

Now, pH is calculated as:

\begin{aligned} \rm pH &= \rm - log [H^{+}]\\\\&= \rm - log [1.142]\\\\&= 0.06\end{aligned}

Therefore, 0.6 is the pH of the hydrosulfuric acid solution.

Which best explains the difference between a ball-and-stick model of a chemical compound and a space-filling model?
Nikolay [14]
Scientists use models to show the characteristics of compounds. Of the different models,ball-and-stick model and space-filling model are commonly used but similar. Ball-and- stick model shows the bond between both atom and not the relative size of the atoms. Space-filling model shows the relative size of the atom and not the bond between the atoms. Both are 3-Dimensional and use color spheres within the model.
