Boyle's law states describes the relationship between volume and pressure for a given mass of gas and it aided our understanding of breathing.

Boyle's law states that, the volume of a given mass of gas is inversely related to its pressure at as long as the temperature is constant .

This means that, as the volume of a given mass of gas increases, its pressure decreases.

As the lungs expand during breathing, the volume of air in them increases as the pressure of air inside the lungs decreases.

concentrated phosphoric acid is90% H3PO4 by mass and the remaining mass is water. The molarity of H3PO4 is 12.2M at temperature
blondinia [14]

Answer:

82.0 mL

Explanation:

Step 1: Given data

  • Concentration of concentrated acid (C₁): 12.2 M
  • Volume of concentrated acid (V₁): ?
  • Concentration of dilute acid (C₂): 1.00 M
  • Volume of dilute acid (V₂): 1.00 L

Step 2: Calculate the required volume of the concentrated acid

We want to prepare a dilute solution from a concentrated one. We can calculate the volume of the concentrated acid using the dilution rule.

C₁ × V₁ = C₂ × V₂

V₁ = C₂ × V₂ / C₁

V₁ = 1.00 M × 1.00 L / 12.2 M = 0.0820 L = 82.0 mL

Who can tell me the half reaction about cucumber battery
xeze [42]
I've prepared some analysis and <span>cucumbers do have many comparable properties to potatoes, tomatoes, and lemons, all of which I know do work. So I would presume that cucumbers would also work. I would recommend trying it yourself to perceive. I'd love to hear the outcomes of your experiment. ;) </span>

What is one factor that contributes to seasons occurring in Pennsylvania?
JulijaS [17]
B. the tilt of the Earth on it's axis

The moon affects the tides by it's gravitational pull on Earth. So the moon has no affect on the earth's seasons. The distance from earth from the sun only affects the ability of Earth to sustain liquid water because earth is in something scientists like to call the "Goldilocks Zone" This has no affect on the seasons. However, the angle at which the sun's light hit the earth does effect seasonal changes and it's tilt does change.

A gamma ray photon has an energy of 4.75 x 10-14 joules. What is the frequency of this radiation?
Rama09 [41]

The frequency of the radiation is equal to 7.17 \times 10^{19} Hertz.

<u>Given the following data:</u>

  • Photon energy = 4.75 \times 10^{-14} Joules

To find the frequency of this radiation, we would use the Planck-Einstein equation.

Mathematically, the Planck-Einstein relation is given by the formula:

E = hf

<u>Where:</u>

  • h is Planck constant.
  • f is photon frequency.

Substituting the given parameters into the formula, we have;

4.75 \times 10^{-14} = 6.626 \times 10^{-34} \times F\\\\F = \frac{4.75 \times 10^{-14}}{6.626 \times 10^{-34}}

Frequency, F = 7.17  \times 10^{19} Hertz
