Which of the following is not an example of natural climate change?
wlad13 [49]

(c) is the correct choice.

El Nino (a), Earth's orbit (b), and solar energy output (d) are all "natural" occurrences.  You can't do a thing aboutum.

Fossil fuels ... or, more precisely, humanity's use of vast quantities of fossil fuels as a convenient source of huge quantities of energy ... and the subsequent increase of Carbon Dioxide in the planet's atmosphere, is not the result of "natural" processes.  It's the result of human efforts to <em>alter and control</em> Nature, through <em>artificial</em> processes.

A circular loop of wire 75 mm in radius carries a current of 113 A. Find the (a) magnetic field strength and (b) energy density
Roman55 [17]

The magnetic field strength is 9.47 ×10⁻⁴ T

The energy density at the center of the loop is 0.36 J/m³

<h3>Calculating Magnetic field strength & Energy density </h3>

From the question, we are to find the magnetic field strength

The magnetic field strength of a loop can be calculated by using the formula,

B = \frac{\mu_{0} I}{2R}

Where  B is the magnetic field strength

\mu_{0} is the permeability of free space (\mu_{0}=4\pi \times 10^{-7} \ N/A^{2})

I is the current

and R is the radius

From the give information,

R = 75 \ mm= 75 \times 10^{-3} \ m

and I = 113 \ A

Putting the parameters into the formula, we get

B = \frac{4\pi \times 10^{-7} \times 113}{2 \times 75 \times 10^{-3} }

B = 9.47 \times 10^{-4} \ T

Hence, the magnetic field strength is 9.47 ×10⁻⁴ T

Now, for the energy density

Energy density can be calculated by using the formula,

u_{B}  = \frac{B^{2} }{2\mu_{0} }

Where u_{B} is the energy density

Then,

u_{B}= \frac{(9.47\times 10^{-4} )^{2} }{2 \times 4\pi \times 10^{-7} }

u_{B} = 0.36 \ J/m^{3}

Hence, the energy density at the center of the loop is 0.36 J/m³

A proton has a positive electric charge of q = 1.6 × 10–19 coulombs. what is the electric potential at a point 5.3 × 10–11 m fro
Natalija [7]

B. The electric potential at the given point from the proton is 2.7 x 10¹ volts

<h3>Electric potential of the proton</h3>

The electric potential of the proton is calculated as follows;

V = kq/r

where;

  • k is Coulomb's constant
  • q is charge
  • r is distance

V = (9 x 10⁹ x 1.6 x 10⁻¹⁹)/(5.3 x 10⁻¹¹)

V = 27.2 volts

V = 2.7 x 10¹ volts

A brief explanation of the properties of electron spin including, but not limited to, the pairing of electrons. (30 points)
Zarrin [17]

<u>Explanation of the properties of electron spin:</u>

Electron spin:

Electron spin is a quantum characteristic of electrons. It is a mode of angular momentum. The magnitude of this angular momentum is perpetual. If the electron spins clockwise on its axis, it is described as spin-up; counterclockwise is spin-down.

  • Electron spin has representative s
  • The electron spin quantum number has representative ms.

Electron pair:

Electron pair is also known as lewis pair. Lewis pair consists of two electrons that fill the same molecular orbital but have opposing spins. Gilbert N. Lewis introduced the electron pair idea in a 1916 article.
