If there was more water area and less land more animals would adapt to the water life than land. Like for example more evolving fins or even amphibians
just staying in water and no longer needing legs or the things they use for living on the land.

Hello Olivia!!!

<span>Q.) Describe at least two geological events that can occur at a divergent boundary.
</span>
A.)Most active divergent plate boundaries occur between oceanic plates and exist as mid-oceanic ridges. Divergent boundaries also form volcanic islands which occur when the plates move apart to produce gaps which molten lava rises to fill.

Hope this can help!!!

A gas has a volume of 62.65L at O degrees Celsius and 1 atm. At what temperature in Celsius would the volume of the gas be 78.31
Anastaziya [24]

Answer:

The volume of the gas will be 78.31 L at 1.7 °C.

Explanation:

We can find the temperature of the gas by the ideal gas law equation:

PV = nRT

Where:

n: is the number of moles

V: is the volume

T: is the temperature

R: is the gas constant = 0.082 L*atm/(K*mol)

From the initial we can find the number of moles:

n = \frac{P_{1}V_{1}}{RT_{1}} = \frac{1 atm*62.65 L}{(0.082 L*atm/K*mol)*(0 + 273)K} = 2.80 moles

Now, we can find the temperature with the final conditions:

T_{2} = \frac{P_{2}V_{2}}{nR} = \frac{612.0 mmHg*\frac{1 atm}{760 mmHg}*78.31 L}{2.80 moles*0.082 L*atm/(K*mol)} = 274.7 K

The temperature in Celsius is:

T_{2} = 274.7 - 273 = 1.7 ^{\circ} C

Therefore, the volume of the gas will be 78.31 L at 1.7 °C.

I hope it helps you!

Consider the molecule BF3. (a) What is the electron config- uration of an isolated B atom? (b) What is the electron con- figurat
anzhelika [568]

For the given molecule, we are asked to give-

  1. The electron configuration of an isolated B atom
  2. The electron configuration of an isolated F atom
  3. Hybrid orbitals should be constructed on the B atom to make the B–F bonds in Boron tri flouride
  4. valence orbitals, if any, remain unhybridized on the B atom.
  • The electron configuration of an isolated B atom:

as atomic number of B is 5

electronic configuration will be [He] 2s² 2p¹

  • The electron configuration of an isolated F atom:

as atomic number of F is 9

electronic configuration will be  [He] 2s² 2p5

  • Hybrid orbitals should be constructed on the B atom to make the B–F bonds in Boron tri flouride will be sp2.

as the one s and two of p orbital from the valance shell will hybridised to make 3 hybrid orbital of B resulting in 3 B-F bonds.

  • valence orbitals, if any, remain unhybridized on the B atom will be 1
