Daisy is not correct. The shaded part is 3/50 that of the whole circle.

In order to determine if Daisy is correct, the area of the circle and the area of the shaded part has to be determined.

Area of the circle = = πr²

Where :

π = pi = 22/7

r = radius = 4 + 3 + 3 = 10

10²π = 100π

Area of the shaded part = 3²π = 9π

Ratio of the areas = 9π / 100π
