If we have a function f(x), f(5) is f(x) but replacing x with 5. The result give us a value of y and a point of the function, (x, y).

f(5) = \frac{1}{4} ({2})^{5} = \frac{32}{4} = 8

Hello!

Substitute x = 5 to find f(5).

⇒ f(5) = 1/4(2)⁵

⇒ f(5) = 32/4

⇒ f(5) = 8

∴ The correct option is A.
