The wheels will start to sink due to no friction by the mud to take the grip.

What is frictional force?

When an object is moving on a rough surface, it experiences opposition. This opposing force is called the friction force.

Given is the contact force from mud on each wheel is 2000N . Assume the only other force acting on the block is that due to gravity.

The friction force is given by

f = coefficient of friction x Normal or contact force

The mud is soft and viscous. When the wheels are rotating, the car will be sinking in mud. This happens due to no grip. Car tries to get out of the mud, but instead it digs itself.

Car needs grip or frictional force to get out from the mud. There is no friction with the ground. Exactly friction makes car's wheels to displace.

Thus, the wheels of the car sink because of no friction from mud.
