The length if the upper portion of the stand is 33. 56 inches

How to determine the length

The formula for the finding the length is given thus;

Total height = length of upper portion + length of base

Where

Length of base = 257/16

Total height = 591/2

Length of upper portion = total height - length of base

= 118/2 - 407/16

= 59 - 25. 44

= 33. 56 inches

Thus, the length if the upper portion of the stand is 33. 56 inches

Your friend rolls a number cube 500 times, how many times do you think an odd number will be rolled?
Mila [183]
250, and this is because of probability. Since half of the numbers are odd numbers, and half are even. It would be hard to determine, your probability would be 1/2. 1/2 of 500 is going to be 250.

Please help. Full explanation if you can.

392 boots. If you divide everything into "sets" of an unknown amount, there are 5 more "sets" of boots than sandals, also known as the 245 boots. So if you divide 245 by 5, you'll get the number of items in a "set". Then just multiply by 8 from the 8:3 ratio. If you check it, it will come out to 392 boots to 147 sandals, which I think is ridiculous since sandals are supposed to come in pairs so you should never have a odd number. But anyway, 392 - 147 = 245

A rectangular garden is 6 feet long and 4 feet wide. A second rectangular garden has dimensions that are double the dimensions o
Talja [164]

Percent change is 100%

Step-by-step explanation:

  • Step 1: Find the perimeter of the first garden when length = 6 ft and width = 4 ft

Perimeter = 2 (length + width)

                = 2 (6 + 4) = 2 × 10 = 20 ft

  • Step 2: Find the perimeter of the second garden when length = 12 ft and width = 8 ft (∵ dimensions are doubled)

Perimeter = 2 (12 + 8) = 2 × 20 = 40 ft

  • Step 3: Find the percent change in perimeter

Percent Change = Final value - initial value/Initial Value × 100

                            = (40 - 20/20) × 100

                            = 1 × 100 = 100%
