<h3>What is mean?</h3>

The mean is a mathematical concept that is used to determine what the average number is in a given set of numbers. For example, given a set of numbers, 5, 1, 1, 1, and 4, the mean is 2.4 (\frac{5+1+1+1+4}{5}), where /5 is the sum of the given set of numbers.

<h3>What is the Median?</h3>

The median is a term used to represent the middle value in a given set of numbers. For example, given a set of numbers, 5, 1, 1, 1, and 4, the median is 1 because it is the middle for this set of numbers counting from left to right.

<h3>What is the mode?</h3>

The mode is a term that refers to the most frequently repeated value in a given set of numbers. For example, given a set of numbers 5, 1, 1, 1, and 4, the mode in the set is 1 since it occurs most, exactly three times.

<h3>What is the Standard deviation?</h3>

Standard deviation is a statistical method used to determine how far (i.e the deviation) of a given dataset relative to its mean. It is often calculated as the square root of variance.

In the current year, a company paid interest of $40,000, had net capital expenditures of $300,000, and issued net new debt of $7
Ksju [112]

Answer:

Free cash flow to the firm = $326,000

Explanation:

The free cash flow to the firm can be computed using the following formula:

Free cash flow to the firm = Cash flow from operating activities + (Interest paid * (100% - Tax rate)) - Net capital expenditures ............... (1)

Where:

Cash flow from operating activities = $600,000

Interest paid = $40,000

Tax rate = 35%

Net capital expenditures = $300,000

Substituting the values into equation (1), we have:

Free cash flow to the firm = $600,000 + ($40,000 * (100% - 35%)) - $300,000 = $326,000

List three conditions for perfect competition.Instructions: You may select more than one answer.1. There is only one firm that m
Jobisdone [24]

Answer:

There are no barriers to entry.

5. Both buyers and sellers are price takers

.7. Firms’ products are identical.

Explanation:

A perfect competition is characterised by many buyers and sellers of homogenous goods and services. Market prices are set by the forces of demand and supply. There are no barriers to entry or exit of firms into the industry.

In the long run, firms earn zero economic profit. If in the short run firms are earning economic profit, in the long run firms would enter into the industry. This would drive economic profit to zero.

Also, if in the short run, firms are earning economic loss, in the long run, firms would exit the industry until economic profit falls to zero.

A monopoly is when there's only one firm operating in an industry.

I hope my answer helps you

New Products pays no dividend at the present time. Starting in Year 3, the firm will pay a $0.25 dividend per share for two year
In-s [12.5K]

Answer:

You should pay $3.86 to purchase this stock.

Explanation:

Hi, first let me mention that we can find the price of a stock by bringing to present value its future cash flows, in this case, its dividends, therefore we need to bring to present value $0.25 of year 3 and $0.25 of year 4. We also have to bring that constant dividend of $0.75 that the company plans to pay indefinitely, that we can do by using the following formula, discounted at 13%.

PV(4)=\frac{Constant Dividend}{Discount Rate}

Notice that the formula above says PV(4), that is because this formula only brings that perpetual annuity to one period of time before the first payment takes place, therefore this value has to be brought to present value too.

With all the considerations above, this is how everything should look like.

Price=\frac{0.25}{(1+0.13)^{3} } +\frac{0.25}{(1+0.13)^{4} } +\frac{0.75}{0.13} *\frac{1}{(1+0.13)^{4} }

Price=0.17+0.15+3.54=3.86

Therefore, the price of this stock is $3.86

Best of luck.
