The equivalent value of the expression is -7

<h3>Modulus of a function</h3>

The modulus of an expression of value is equal to the positive of such function or value.

Given the expression

2(2.5 - |-6|)

Since the value of -6 is a modulus, the expression will become;

2(2.5 - |-6|) = 2(2.5) - 2(6)

2(2.5 - |-6|) = 5 - 12

2(2.5 - |-6|) = -7

Hence the equivalent value of the expression is -7

Kobotan [32]

Answer:

x=-15, y=25. (-15, 25).

Step-by-step explanation:

2x+3y=45

x+y=10

--------------

x=10-y

2(10-y)+3y=45

20-2y+3y=45

20+y=45

y=45-20

y=25

x+25=10

x=10-25

x=-15

How to find cp if loss and sp are given
velikii [3]

Step-by-step explanation:

\tt{ \: H \: E \: Y \: \:  T \: H \: E \: R\: E \: } !

When Loss and Selling price ( SP ) are given , Cost price ( CP ) can be found out using the following formulae :

✰ \large{ \boxed{ \boxed{ \tt{CP = Loss + SP}}}}

\text{How \: did\: we \:get  \:the \: formula :  \: CP \:  = Loss \:  +  \: SP} \: ?

We simply derived the formula from Loss = CP - SP.

First , Swap the sides of the equation :

⟶ \text{CP - SP = Loss}

Move SP to right hand side and change it's sign :

⟶\text{CP = Loss + SP}

This is how , CP can be obtained when we are given loss and SP.

Hope I helped ! ♡

Have a wonderful day / night ! ツ
