A- electric forces only - WHEN The force exerted on a stationary charged object is nonzero.

B- magnetic forces ONLY - The magnitude of the force depends on the charged object's direction of motion.

C- both electric and magnetic forces - The force is proportional to the magnitude of the charge of the object on which the force is exerted.

D- neither electric nor magnetic forces- The force exerted on a moving charged object is zero.

(vi)- The force exerted on a charged object is proportional to its speed- magnetic forces only

A soccer player kicks a ball with a speed of 30 m/s at an angle of 10. How long does the ball stay in the air?
Natalka [10]
"10" is not a very satisfying description of an angle.
I'll assume it's 10 degrees, and that it's the angle of the initial trajectory
above the horizontal.

The vertical component of the ball's speed is 30 sin(10°) = 5.209 meters per second.

The acceleration of gravity is 9.8 meters per second² downward.

The ball continues to rise for 9.8/5.209 = 1.881 seconds after the kick.
At that time, it reaches the peak of its arc, and if nobody else has contacted it yet,
it begins to fall, and takes the same length of time to return to the ground whence
it was kicked.

So the time between the kick and return to the ground is (2 x 1.881) = 3.763 seconds.

Note: As is customary and necessary at the high school level,
we assume no air resistance.

Form of communication that reaches large audiences without personal contact.
lukranit [14]
Socialization is the process of internalization of the norms and ideologies of society by an individual. It encompasses learning and teaching to attain social and cultural continuity. It also has various forms. One of which is the MASS MEDIUM/MEDIA which is a form of communication that does not need personal contact to relay or convey and information. Examples of which are books, films, internet, magazines and so forth.

Determine the total moment of inertia of a merry-go round with 5 children sitting on it. Of the five children, four are seated a
BaLLatris [955]

Answer:

Explanation:

Given that,

We have five children.

Each of mass m =30kg

They sit on a merry go round

Mass of Merry go round M= 150kg

Radius of Merry go round is r =2m

Four children sit at the edge of the merry go round but one child sit at the centre.

The four child that sit at the edge are 2m from the centre of the merry go round but the one at the centre is 0m from the centre

Moment of inertia?

Moment of inertia is given as

I=Σmi•ri²

For the question, the moment of inertia is the combination of inertial of child and the merry go round

I= I(merry go round) + I(four child)+ I(last child)

The merry go round is assumed to be a solid cylinder, so it is going to have the moment of inertia of solid cylinder

Then,

I(merry go round ) =½ Mr²

Also, Four of the child has the same moment of inertia, they are 2m form the centre of the merry go round why the last child has no moment of inertia

I= I(merry go round) + I(four child) +I(last child )

I= ½Mr² + 4mr² + mr'²

I = ½ × 150 ×2² + 4×30×2² + 30×0²

I = 300 +480+0

I = 780 kgm²
