Since the beaker was heated we can asume that only magnesium cloride is left in the beaker, therfore the difference between the beaker with magnesium chloride and the empty beaker give the mass of magnisium chloride:

\text{mass MgCl}_2=massbeakerwithMgCl_2-mass\text{ emprty beaker =37.83 g - 33.95g = 3.8}8g

What is the temperature of 4.5 moles of a gas that occupies 50. mL at 1.35 atm?
devlian [24]

Answer:

T = 0.182 Kelvin

Explanation:

As we know that

PV = nRT\\

Where P is the pressure in atmospheric pressure

T is the temperature in Kelvin

R is the gas constant

V is the volume in liters

R = 0.08206

Substituting the given values in above equation, we get -

1.35 * \frac{50}{1000}= 4.5 * 0.08206* T\\

On rearranging, we get

T = \frac{1.35*50}{1000*0.08206*4.5} \\

T = 0.182 Kelvin

A burner on a stove produces temperature. thermal energy. hotness. fire energy.
Aleksandr [31]

Question:

The options are;

a. Temperature

b. Thermal Energy

c. Hotness

d. Fire Energy

Answer:

The correct option is;

b. Thermal energy

Explanation:

A burner on a stove produces thermal energy which is used to raise the temperature of the metal container (kettle, pot or pans) in which items are placed for heating.

Thermal energy is the internal energy of the system given off as heat which when transferred from one body to another causes the temperature of the receiving body to rise. Thermal energy in a burner is given off when the gaseous fuel reacts or burns in the presence of or with oxygen to produce carbon dioxide and water vapor in an exothermic reaction.

4C + 5H₂ + 13/2O₂ (-125 kJ) → C₄H₁₀ + O₂ → CO₂ + H₂O (-2877 kJ).

Bess [88]

Answer:

Explanation:

<u>Manganese (VII) ion (an anion) has the formula MnO₄⁻</u>. A polyatomic ion is an ion that is made up of more than one atom. For example, MnO₄⁻ and NH₄⁺. Since the ion provided in the question is an anion, the polyatomic ion that would react with it will have to be a cation (positively charged).

<u>The polyatomic cation that will react with MnO₄⁻ to form a neutral compound is NH₄⁺ (ammonium ion) to form NH₄MnO₄ (Ammonium permanganate).</u>
