First calculate for number of moles:

moles Ag = 12 g / (107.87 g / mol)

moles Ag = 0.111 mol

Convert to atoms using Avogadros number:

atoms Ag = 0.111 mol * (6.022 x 10^23 atoms / mol)

atoms Ag = 6.7 x 10^22 atoms

There are 47 electrons per atom, therefore:

Number of electrons = (6.7 x 10^22 atoms) * (47 electrons / atom)

Number of electrons = 3.15 x 10^24 electrons

2NO(g) N2(g) + O2(g); Keq = 2.1 × 1030 What does the value of the equilibrium constant indicate?
olga_2 [115]
The equilibrium constant is a value which represents the equilibrium of a reaction. It is a reaction quotient when the reaction reached equilibrium. If Keq is greater than 1, the mixture contains mostly the products. On the other hand, if Keq is less than 1, the mixture contains the reactants. For this case, the mixture contains mostly products.

sulfur (s) is in group 16 of the periodic table. how many valence electrons dos an atom of sulfur have?
Alex73 [517]
6 because the number of valence electrons is always the ones-place of any two-digit group number. So an element in group 18 would have 8 valence electrons
Hope this helps!
