Answer:

1).  energy of rising water vapor

Kinetic Energy

Explanation

Since here water molecules are moving upwards so it is kinetic energy.

2).  energy of a stone resting on a cliff

Gravitational Potential energy

Explanation

Since here the stone is at rest so it is potential energy

3).  energy of the wings of a flying hummingbird

Kinetic energy

Explanation

Since bird is flying at some speed so it is kinetic energy

4).  energy of a disconnected battery

Potential energy

Explanation

Since there is no current flowing through the battery so it is potential energy of cell

5).  energy of a rolling marble

Kinetic energy

Explanation

Since the marble is moving with some speed so it is kinetic energy of the marble

6).  energy of a stretched rubber band

Elastic potential energy

Explanation

Since rubber is only stretched so there is no kinetic energy only potential energy is stored in it

There are 2 concentric cylinders. These cylinders are very long with length L. The inner cylinder has a radius R1 and is a solid
OLga [1]
To get the charge along the inner cylinder, we use Gauss Law
E = d R1/2εo
For the outer cylinder the charge can be calculated using
E = d R2^2/2εoR1
where d is the charge density
Use these two equations to get the charge in between the cylinders and the capacitance between them.

Explain in your own words how the Doppler Effect is also applicable in our study of light.
arlik [135]

well in my own words, i'd saw the the doppler effect is similar to light because sound has a speed, and light does too.

so my theory is if you go fast enough everything would just become black, or maybe white? idk its hard to explain

but what my point is, is taht the doppler effect works in the same way, like if a car is moving towards you the sound is being emitted from the car and being pushed by the speed of the car making it have a much higher pitch, when the car is going away however it drops to a lower pitch due the the sound waves being DRAGGED by the car.

there hoped this helped I guess

The x component of vector is -27.3 m and the y component is +43.6 m. (a) What is the magnitude of ? (b) What is the angle betwee
lara [203]

Answer:51.44 units

Explanation:

Given

x component of vector is -27.3\hat{i}

y component of vector is 43.6\hat{j}

so position vector is

r=-27.3\hat{i}+43.6\hat{j}

Magnitude of vector is

|r|=\sqrt{27.3^2+43.6^2}

|r|=\sqrt{2646.25}

|r|=51.44 units

Direction

tan\theta =\frac{43.6}{-27.3}=-1.597

vector is in 2nd quadrant thus

180-\theta =57.94

\theta =122.06^{\circ}
