<h3><u>Answer;</u></h3>

Hang time = 3.0 s

Range  = 65.06 m

Maximum Height = 11.05 m

<h3><u>Solution</u>;</h3>

Hang time is given by the formula;

T = 2vₒsinθ/g

Thus;

T = 2*(26.2 )sin34.2 / 9.81

    = 3.0 s

Range is given by the formula;

R = vₒ²sin2θ/g

      = 26.2²sin(2*34.2) /9.81

      = 65.06 m

Max height is given by the formula;

H = vₒ²sin²θ/2g

Thus;

H= 26.2²sin²34.2 /(2*9.81)

  = 11.05 m

weegy a 7.5kg block is placed on a table. if its bottom surface area is 0.6m2 , how much pressure does the block exert on the ta
Lesechka [4]

The pressure exerted by the block on the table is given by:

p=\frac{W}{A}

where W is the weight of the box, and A is the bottom surface area of the box.

The weight of the box is: W=mg=(7.5 kg)(9.81 m/s^2)=73.6 N

Substituting into the first equation, we find the pressure:

p=\frac{W}{A}=\frac{73.6 N}{0.6 m^2}=122.7 Pa

Two cars, one of mass 1400 kg, and the
Vikki [24]

Suppose that, in the x-y plane, the first car is moving to the right so that its velocity is given by the vector

v₁ = (14 m/s) i

and the second car is moving upward so that its velocity vector is

v₂ = (20 m/s) j

Then the total momentum of two cars before their collision is

m₁v₁ + m₂v₂ = (1400 kg) (14 m/s) i + (2300 kg) (20 m/s) j

= (19,600 i + 46,000 j) kg•m/s

Their momentum after the collision is

(1400 kg + 2300 kg) v = (3700 kg) v

where v is the velocity vector of the wreckage.

By conservation of momentum,

(19,600 i + 46,000 j) kg•m/s = (3700 kg) v

Let a and b be the horizontal and vertical components of v, respectively. Then

19,600 kg•m/s = (3700 kg) a   ⇒   a ≈ 5.2973 m/s ≈ 5.3 m/s

46,000 kg•m/s = (3700 kg) b   ⇒   b ≈ 12.4324 m/s ≈ 12 m/s

so that the final speed of the wreckage is

||v|| = √(a² + b²) ≈ 13.5139 m/s ≈ 14 m/s

A boy is swinging a yo-yo with mass 0.25 kg in a circle with radius 1 m at a speed of 6 m/s. What is the tension in the string c
Paladinen [302]

Answer:

D. 9 N

Explanation:

The tension on the string is equivalent to the centripetal force.

Centripetal force is the force exerted by an object in circular motion or path towards the center of the circular path.

Centripetal force = mv²/r

where m is the mass of the object, v is the velocity and r is the radius of the circular path.

Centripetal force = (0.25 kg × 6²)/ 1

                            = 9 N

Thus, the tension on the string is 9 N
