Claire is saving up to buy a new laptop that costs $849. She has $232 and is saving $28 each week. How many full weeks will it t
miss Akunina [59]

Subtract the amount she has saved from the price of the laptop:

849 - 232 = 617

Now divide the amount she still needs by the amount she saves per week:

617 / 28 = 22.04

Because the answer has a number to the right of the decimal, she will need to save for 23 full weeks to have enough money.

If she saves for 22 weeks, she would be $1 short:

22 x 28 = 616 + 232 = 848

Find the surface area of the rectangular prism.<br> 15 cm<br> 3 cm<br> 5 cm
garik1379 [7]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Formula

SA = 2*L*w + 2*L*h + 2*h*w

Givens

L =  15

w = 5

h = 3

Solution

SA = 2*15*5 + 2*15*3 + 2*5*3

SA = 150 + 90 + 30

SA = 270 cm^2

b) 4/3= 1.333333333333 but you also can say 1.33 or just 1.3

2)

a) 21/8, 21 over 8 if you solve you would get 2.625
b) 7(divide sign)4, which is also 7/4, if you solve you would get 1.75
c) 4/9 , 4 over 9 if you solve you would get 0.444444444 which is 0.4
d) 9/7, 9 over 7, if you solve it would be 1.285 which is 1.3

Nellie is analyzing a quadratic function f(x) and a linear function g(x). Will they intersect?
dolphi86 [110]
For the answer to the question above, I think i've seen this question before.
If we substitute 13 to f(x) and get a value for x, then the two equations will intersect. So,
f(x) = x^2 + 6x +10
13 = x^2 + 6x+ 10
x^2 + 6x - 3 = 0

Solving the quadratic equations:
The roots of the equation is
x = 0.4641 and
x = -6.4541

Therefore, the line will intersect with the quadratic function.
