the answer is: <span>Refracting telescopes typically use objective lenses and eyepieces. The objective lens collects light from a distant object and brings that light to a focal point to create an image. The eyepieces sits at the focal point of the objective lens and magnifies the image so it appears larger to the observer.</span>

Reflecting telescopes are more powerful than refracting telescopes. These are also called as reflectors which serves an optical telescope that uses a single or combination of curved mirrors. These mirrors then reflect light and form an image. It is designed for very large diameter objects and are mostly considered as major telescopes in the field of astronomy.

Jessica's weight is 540 newtons. According to the Third Law, if the Earth pulls on Jessica with a force of 540 N, then Jessica p
Alja [10]

This is because the earth is way heavier than Jessica hence has a greater force of gravity applied on Jessica that Jessica applies to earth. The distance between the Earth and Jessica is also very short hence the force of gravity on Jessica towards earth is greater. According to Newton's laws that states; if an unbalanced force acts on an object, it will change the object's state of motion (the object will accelerate). The earth cause Jesica to ‘accelerate’ towards the ‘core’ when she stumbles.

The Earth is 81.25 times as massive as the Moon and the radius of the Earth is 3.668 times the radius of the Moon. If a simple p
Alexeev081 [22]

Answer:

option (b)

Explanation:

Mass of moon = m

Mass of earth = 81.25 x mass of moon = 81.25 m

Radius of moon = r

radius of earth = 3.668 x radius of moon  = 3.668 r

Frequency on earth = 2 Hz

Let the frequency on moon is f.

The formula for the frequency is given by

f = \frac{1}{2\pi }\times \sqrt{\frac{g}{l}}

The value of acceleration due to gravity on earth is g.

ge = G Me / Re^2

ge = G x 81.25 m / (3.668 r)^2

ge = 6.039 x G m / r^2 = 6.039 x gm

ge / gm = 6.039

Now use the formula for frequency

\frac{fe}{fm} = \sqrt{\frac{ge}{gm}}

\frac{2}{fm} = \sqrt{\frac{6.039 gm}{gm}}

\frac{2}{fm} = 2.46

fm = 0.814 Hz

An electric clothes dryer draws 15 a of current from a 240-v wall outlet. how much power, in watts, does it use?
Nataly [62]
The power consumed by the electric clothes dryer may be calculated by the following equation,

    P = I x V

where P is the power, I is the current in amperes, and V is the voltage in volts. Substituting the known values from the given above,

  P = (15 A)(240 V)
  P = 3600 watts

Therefore, the power consumed by the electric clothes dryer is equal to 3600 watts.
