I. The alpha particle is a helium nucleus; it consists of two protons and two neutrons. It contains no electrons to balance the two positively charged protons. ... Beta particles are emitted by neutron rich unstable nuclei. Beta particles are high energy electrons.

timofeeve [1]

Answer:

Torque will be equal to 4.176 N-m

Explanation:

It is given moment of inertia about knee joint I=0.18kgm^2

Angular acceleration produced \alpha =23.2rad/sec^2

We e have to find the torque

Torque is equal to \tau =I\alpha , here I is moment of inertia and \alpha is angular acceleration.

Torque will be equal to \tau =0.18\times 23.2=4.176Nm

So torque is equal to 4.176 N-m

Vera_Pavlovna [14]

Answer:

24.25m/s

Explanation:

m = 0.5kg

u ( initial velocity) = 0m/s

v ( final velocity) =?

a = 9.8m/s^2

d (displacement) = 30m

Since u don't have time, u only have the choice to use this formula

V^2 = u^2 + 2ad

V^2 = 0 + 2 x 9.8 x 30

V^2 = 588

V = 24.25 m/s

. Is there net work done on an object at rest or moving at a constant velocity? <br> WHICH ONE ???
Grace [21]

If an object is moving with a constant velocity, then by definition it has zero acceleration. So there is no net force acting on the object. The total work done on the object is thus 0 (that's not to say that there isn't work done by individual forces on the object, but the sum is 0 ).

If we neglect friction/air resistance, then the horizontal component
doesn't change, and the vertical component becomes (9.8 m/s downward)
greater each second thanks to gravity.

So, after 2 seconds, the horizontal component is still 40 m/s, and the
vertical component is (30 - 2·9.8) = 10.4 m/s upward.

Choice #1 says this.

The equation for gravity is given by:

F_G =  \frac{G m_1 m_2}{r^2}

1. If r goes up by a factor of 3, gravity goes down by a factor of 9.
2. If m₁*m₂ goes up by a factor of 24, gravity goes up by a factor of 24.
