Answer:

Gravitational Force

Explanation:

Gravitational force also called gravity or gravitation is an attractive force that keeps two objects in space. Gravitational force is an attractive force that tends to pull matters together. Every objects in the universe experience gravitational pull.  Planets, stars, galaxies, are held together by gravity. It is a weak force. The weight of an object is the product of gravitational force acting on its mass.

Newton's Law of Universal Gravitation states the force of attraction between two masses m₁ and m₂ in the universe is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of their distance apart.

                                 F = G\frac{m_{1}m_{2}}{r^2}

Where;

F is the gravitational force,

G is the gravitational constant = 6.67 × 10¹¹ m³/kg/s,

m1 and m2 are the masses of the objects,

r is the distance between the centers of the masses

GalinKa [24]

Answer:

As a type of thermal power station, a coal-fired power station converts chemical energy stored in coal successively into thermal energy, mechanical energy and, finally, electrical energy. The coal is usually pulverized and then burned in a pulverized coal-fired boiler.Coal-fired plants produce electricity by burning coal in a boiler to produce steam. The steam produced, under tremendous pressure, flows into a turbine, which spins a generator to create electricity.

In a rigid container, as the temperature of a gas decreases, the pressure of the gas will decrease. t f
Sergio039 [100]
The answer is true: the pressure of a gas will decrease as temperature decreases in a rigid container.

This is one of the central gas laws called the Gay-Lussac law that states for a given gas at a constant volume, the pressure of the gas is directly proportional to its temperature. We also know that as temperature reduces, so too does molecular interaction. Increased temperature results in increased pressure, and decreased temperature therefore results in decreased pressure.

The initial kinetic energy imparted to a 0.25 kg bullet is 1066 J. The acceleration of gravity is 9.81 m/s 2 . Neglecting air re
lubasha [3.4K]

Answer:

The range of the bullet is 0.435 kilometers.

Explanation:

According to the problem, maximum height is equal to the range of the bullet. That is:

\Delta x = \Delta y

Where:

\Delta x - Range of the bullet, measured in meters.

\Delta y - Maximum height of the bullet, measured in meters.

By the Principle of Energy Conservation, gravitational potential energy reaches its maximum at the expense of the initial kinetic energy. That is to say:

K_{1} = U_{2}

Where:

K_{1} - Kinetic energy at point 1, measured in joules.

U_{1} - Gravitational potential energy at point 2, measured in joules, and:

U_{2} = m\cdot g \cdot \Delta y

Where:

m - Mass of the bullet, measured in kilograms.

g - Gravitational constant, measured in meters per square second.

The maximum height is now cleared:

K_{1} = m\cdot g \cdot \Delta y

\Delta y = \frac{K_{1}}{m\cdot g}

If K_{1} = 1066\,J, m = 0.25\,kg and g = 9.81\,\frac{m}{s^{2}}, the maximum height is now computed:

\Delta y = \frac{1066\,J}{(0.25\,kg)\cdot \left(9.807\,\frac{m}{s^{2}} \right)}

\Delta y = 434.791\,m

\Delta y = 0.435\,km

Lastly, the range of the bullet is 0.435 kilometers.
