The proton has a charge of +1.

The neutron has a charge of 0.

The electron has a charge of -1. When dealing with these type of questions you have to make sure you know what you are doing because it can be kind of confusing when getting a grade higher . its all the same the teacher will not be teaching you anything wrong it would be just her way of doing it . Paying attention in class is important because you cant come to social media every time to get a answer because it might be wrong . but , you can go with your best choice and say b because thats what i think is right.

B Electrons are the smallest of the three particles that make upatoms. Electrons are found in shells or orbitals that surroundthe nucleus of an atom. Protons and neutrons are found in the nucleus. They group together in the center of the atom.

The weight of an object varies from place to place across the globe due to difference in acceleration due to gravity.

Weight of the roast in grams

1 lb ------------> 453.592 grams

3 lb ------------> ?

= (3 x 453.592)

Ethylene glycol is used as an antifreeze in car. if 400 g of ethylene glycol is added to 4.00 kg of water, what is the molaity?
Illusion [34]
Data:

solute: ethylene glicol => not ionization

molar mass of ethylene glicol (from internet) = 62.07 g/mol

solute = 400 g

solvent = water = 4.00 kg

m =?

ΔTf = ?

Kf = 1.86 °C/mol

Formulas:

m: number of moles of solute / kg of solvent

ΔTf = Kf*m

number of moles of solute = mass in grams / molar mass

Solution

number of moles of solute = 400 g / 62.07 g/mol = 6.44 moles

m = 6.44 mol / 4 kg = 1.61 m <-------- molality (answer)

ΔTf = 1.86 °C / m * 1.61 m = 2.99 °C <---- lowering if freezing point (answer)
