It is real, however it gets inverted in the retina and flips back in the cornea

The image formed on the retina is real, however it is inverted. The brain sends signals which revert the image so we can see what things actually look like. Try looking at your reflection in a spoon - without our brain fixing the image, this is what our retina would have us see.

When Royce was 10 years old, he had a mass of
coldgirl [10]

Answer:

<em>The gravitational force between Royce and Earth would be doubled at 16 years.</em>

Explanation:

<em>"Newton's law of universal gravitation states that gravitation force between two masses is proportional to the magnitude of their masses and inverse-squared of their distance".</em>

Royce Scenario

At the age of 10 Royce's mass = 30kg

At the age of 16 Royce's mass = 60kg

From Newton's law of universal gravitation, an Increase in the mass of a body would amount to a corresponding increase in the gravitational force.

In the case of Royce, the mass double between the age of 10 and 16, so there would be an increase of the gravitation force by double.

What is the mass of a rock lifted 2 meters off the ground that has 196 J of potential energy?
eimsori [14]

Answer:

10kg

Explanation:

Let PE=potential energy

PE=196J

g(gravitational force)=9.8m/s^2

h(change in height)=2m

m=?

PE=m*g*(change in h)

196=m*9.8*2

m=10kg
