-2/3x - 3/4x =5/6.

Find the common denominator for -2/3x and -3/4x. The common denominator is 12.

Multiply by 4 for -2/3x. (-2)(4)/3(4)x=-8/12x

Multiply by 3 for -3/4x. (-3)(3)/4(3)x=-9/12x

-8/12x-9/12x=5/6

-17/12x=5/6

Multiply both sides by -12/17

(-17/12x)(-12/17)=5/6(-12/17)

Cross out -17 and 17, divide by 17. Then becomes 1.

Cross out -12 and -12, divide by -12. Then becomes 1.

1*1*x=x

Cross out 6 and -12, divide by 6. 6/-6=1, -12/6=-2

5*-2/17=-10/17

Answer: -10/17

common denumerator is 12

-8/12x-9/12x=10/12

-17/12x=10/12 <<multiply by 12

-17x=10

Answer:

1/(5^12 * 32^3 * 9^15)

Step-by-step explanation:

5^-12 = 1/(5^12)

32^-3 = 1/(32^3)

9^-15 = 1/(9^15)

1/(5^12) * 1/(32^3) * 1/(9^15) = 1/(5^12 * 32^3 * 9^15)

Please help me with this homework
snow_lady [41]

Answer:

10.44 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Solve this as a triange. The base is 3m and the perpendicular is 10m. The angle between the base and wall is 90° so it will be a right angled triangle.

Solve this by Pythagoras theorm:

let length of ladder is c

base is b

And perpendicular is a

Acc to Pythagoras theorem:

C² = a² + b²

C² = 10² + 3²

C² = 100 + 9

C² = 109

√C² = √109

C = 10.44m

Find the value of x and y.

help me out ASAP!!
il63 [147K]

Step-by-step explanation:

13x + 15 = 19x - 9 ( being opposite sides of parallelogram)

19x - 13x = 15 + 9

6x = 24

x = 24 / 6

x = 4

4y + 7° + 10y - 37° = 180° {being co-interior angles }

14y = 180° - 7° + 37°

14y = 210°

y = 210°/ 14

y = 15°

Hope it will help :)

How do you find the slope of an equation for example y=2x-1
Stells [14]
In the equation y = mx + b, you can find the slope very quickly and easily, because m is the slope, and b is the y-intercept. So in the equation y = 2x - 1, the slope is 2, and the y-intercept is -1. :)
