Answer:

1. Horizontal shift left 3, Vertical shift down 3.

2. Reflection across the x-axis, Vertical stretch of 3.

3. Horizontal shift right 3, Vertical shift down 3.

Step-by-step explanation:

The parent quadratic function is

f(x)=x^2

Table of values:

x         y

-2       4

-1        1

0       0

1        1

2       4

The graph of parent quadratic function is a U-shaped curve with vertex at origin.

The graph of parent function shifted 3 units left and 3 units down to get the graph 1.

The graph of parent function reflected across the x-axis and vertically stretched by factor 3 to get the graph 2.

The graph of parent function shifted 3 units right and 3 units down to get the graph 3.

What is the area of the triangle? no links just the answer plz.
nikitadnepr [17]

Answer:

A = 25

Step-by-step explanation:

Base = |-2-(-7)| = |-2+7| = 5

equation of the line that includes the base

x = 6 (because it is parallel to y axis)

the height passes to the point (-4,-4) and must be perpendicular to the base

the equation of the line of the base hasn’t the slope expressed, so the line of the height has a slope equal to 0

so the equation of the line is y= -4

the point (6,-4) is where the two lines intercept and it is the point where the height hit  the base

height = |-4-6| = 10

A = (base x height)/2 = (5x10)/2 = 25

Can someone explain where I went wrong in this answer (link attatched)
finlep [7]
You divided cm³ by litres, that's where you went wrong.

The volume of the cilinder is 753982 cm³ which is 753.982 litres

To fill it takes 753.982/0.2 seconds ≈ 3769.9 seconds.

In an hour there are 60*60=3600 seconds, so it takes slightly more than one hour.

But as you can see you were very close. It helps to always write the unit with any number.
