C) The equation can be rewritten as:

\frac{7 * 6!}{6! * 5!} *  \frac{13 * 12 * 11 * 10!}{10!}

6! and 10! in the numerator and denominator cancel out. Leaving you with:
\frac{7}{5!} * 13 * 12 * 11

Simplify:
\frac{12012}{120} = 100.1

d) (2 + 4)! = 6!
6 * 5 * 4 * 3 * 2 * 1
30 * 12 * 2
360 * 2
720

e) Just like in part c, we can rewrite the numerator:
\frac{26 * 25* 24!}{24! * 2!}

The 24! in the numerator and denominator cancel out. Leaving you with:
\frac{26*25}{2*1} =  \frac{650}{2} = 325

f) Just like part c and e, we can rewrite the denominator:
\frac{15! * 8!}{16 * 15!}

15! cancels in both top and bottom. Leaving you with:
\frac{8!}{16} = 2520

Use the trigonometric ratios since, cosine, and tangent to answer the following questions.
Roman55 [17]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Part 1.

The sine of an angle is defined as; Opposite side/the Hypotenuse. From the right angle triangle given; sin x =5/13.

The cosine of an angle is defined as; Adjacent side/Hypotenuse. From the right angle triangle given; cos x =12/13.

The tangent of an angle is defined as; Opposite side/Adjacent side. From the right angle triangle given; tan x =5/12.

Part 2.

We use the same definitions of the trigonometric ratios above;

sin y =12/13

cos y =5/13

tan y =12/5

Part 3.

The sin∠X and the cos∠Y are equal, their value is 5/13. The sine of angle is always equal to the cosine of its complement. In this case, ∠X+∠Y =90 hence ∠X is a complement of ∠Y.

Part 4.

The tangents of ∠X and ∠Y are inverses of each other. The tangent of an angle will always be equal to the inverse or reciprocal of the tangent of its complement.

What is, 3 - (1/3) to the power of 4?
MArishka [77]

Answer:

3-(1/3)^4 = 242/81

Step-by-step explanation

to raise a fraction to a power, raise the numerator and denominator to that power. Making it 3-1/81

then calculate the difference, making your answer 242/81 (or 2 wholes and 80/81)
