When an ocean plate slips under another oceanic plate, the denser plate goes into and subducts into the mantle. This causes a partial melting of the thinner and less dense rock. This can end up pushing volcanoes and other formations to sea level.

Show the energy of Oxidation of two mole pyruvic acid.
DerKrebs [107]

Answer:

Methanesulfinic acid (MSIA) is an important intermediate in the oxidation of dimethyl sulfide (DMS) in the marine boundary layer. The oxidation of MSIA by ozone in the gas phase to form methanesulfonic acid (MSA) was investigated using theoretical calculations in this paper. Three pathways can be found for the reaction of MSIA with ozone. The highest energy barrier is 13.02 kcal mol−1 in the most favorable pathway. By comparing the reaction rate of MSIA + O3 with that of MSIA + OH, it can be concluded that the oxidation of MSIA by O3 to form MSA is of minor significance relative to its oxidation by OH radical in the gas phase. This study can provide some information for the theoretical and experimental studies in the significantly heterogeneous and aqueous-phase oxidation of MSIA by O3.

Eduardwww [97]

Answer: A wave

Explanation: Waves move in that kind of up and down motion, a circuit is a straight line with energy flowing through it, a magnet is a pulling effect and a prism is a shape, not necessarily a motion.

Hope this helps ^_^

How is our understanding of evolution influenced by our knowledge of genetics?
Svetradugi [14.3K]

Answer:

Explanation:

Genetics play a key part in understanding evolution. While two organisms may bear similar or no resemblance whatsoever to each other, their genes can tell us whether or not they were related- and creatures that show change (especially dramatic change) show us evolution through genetics.
