If an object is dropped from rest off a 10.5m high building, how long does it take to hit the ground?

We can calculate the time it takes for the object to hit the ground by using the following equation:

S=\frac{1}{2} gt^2

where S=10.5 m is the initial height of the object, g=9.81 m/s^2 is the free-fall acceleration and t is the time. Re-arranging the equation, we can solve for the time:

t=\sqrt{\frac{2S}{g}}=\sqrt{\frac{2(10.5 m)}{9.81 m/s^2}}=1.46 s

Lenz’s law states that an induced magnetic field in a conductor true or false
Hunter-Best [27]

Let's say there's a magnetic field B passing through a conductor loop with an area A. The magnetic flux through the loop, if B is constant and perpendicular to the loop, is B multiplied by A. Now let's say the magnetic flux is changing. This can be caused by a combination of the strength of B changing, A changing, or the orientation of B or the loop changing.

Lenz's law states that the changing magnetic flux induces a current in the loop such that the induced current creates its own magnetic field to oppose the change in the flux.

Most subduction-derived magma never reaches the surface. however, what is formed if this type of magma reaches the surface of a
Allushta [10]
The subduction zone is the zone in the crust of the Earth where tectonic plates meet.
Magma is a hot fluid formed in the crust. This fluid is the one from which lava is formed.

Most magma that is formed in this region never reaches the surface. However, if it does, belts of volcanoes will be formed.

Elle is pushing a box of mass 7.0 kilograms with the force of 25 newtons. If the force of friction is 2.6 newtons, what is the v
BigorU [14]
In the given question, there are several information's of immense importance. Using those given information's, it is easy to get to the required result. It is given that the mass of the box Ellie is pushing is 7 kg with a force of 25 newtons. the force of friction effecting the acceleration is 2.6 Newton.
We already know that
Force = mass * Acceleration
We also know that
Force = Force applied - Force of friction
           = (25 - 2.6) Newton
           = 22.4 Newton.
Now putting the value of force in the equation, we get
Force = Mass * Acceleration
22.4 = 7 * Acceleration.
Acceleration = 22.4/7
                     = 3.2 m/s^2
So the value of acceleration is 3.2 m/s^2

As you move from left to right across the electromagnetic spectrum in the image, the wavelength becomes
svp [43]

The shortest wavelength is on the (high energy)left side of this diagram with Gamma rays. The longest wavelength waves are radio, around 3 meters. So, as you progress, the wavelengths get A) longer.
