Since we aren't given any table, I attached a periodic table showing the electronegativities of each element. Using these values, we can move along to the solution. Take the absolute value for the difference.

CO: 3.5 - 2.5 = 1
CS: 2.5 - 2.5 = 0
SiO: 3.5 - 1.8 = 1.7
SiS: 2.5 - 1.8 = 0.7
SO: 3.5 - 2.5 = 1
NO: 3.5 - 3.0 = 0.5

The larger the difference, the greater the tendency for a dipole moment. So, the increasing order of dipole moment is: CS, NO, SiS, SO or CO, SiO.

Why does decreasing the volume of gas cause the pressure to increase if temperature is constant
Yuri [45]

There's less space, causing the air particles to collide with the walls of the container more frequently. Pressure is that energy caused by molecules striking a surface. Thus, compacting air molecules leads to higher pressure.

Five different substances are given to you to be dissolved in water. Which substances are most likely to undergo dissolution in
9966 [12]

Answer:

NaF and KBr

Explanation:

These two substances contain pure ionic bonds. LiI is a covalent compound because of the Large polarizing power of Li and the high polarizability of I(Fajan's rules). The other compounds mentioned are organic compounds. They are not soluble in water at all.

Compare an oxygen particle to a water particle. In your answer , include describing how they are different and similar.
Naddik [55]

Answer:

An oxygen molecule consists of two oxygen (o2) atoms bound together and a water molecule consists of two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom (h20). H20 has a higher evaporation temperature than oxygen therefore it stays a liquid at room temperature unlike oxygen. Both have oxygen atoms.
