CF4 is the compound that has polar bonds, but dipole moment of O. C-f bond is a polar bond which is covalent. It has dipole of 4 polar C.F bonds and results in the overall monopolar molecule.
CF4 it has no net dipole moment.

C- F ( polar covalent bond)

It has dipole of 4 polar C-F bond which cancel each other out

result as non polar dipole molecules

so CF4 has no net dipole moment.

Balance the equation αC6H14(g)+βO2(g)→γCO2(g)+δH2O(g)
fenix001 [56]
Answer: The balanced reaction is:
2 C6H14(g)+ 19 O2(g) → 12 CO2(g)+ 14 H2O(g)

Note: While balancing the chemical reaction, care must be taken that total number atoms (of each type) on both reactant and product side must be same. In present case, there are 12 'C' atoms, 28 'H' atoms and 38 'O' atoms on both reactant and product side. Hence, the reaction is balanced.

Magnesium burns in air with a dazzling brilliance to produce magnesium oxide: 2mg(s) + o2(g) → 2mgo(s) how many moles of o2 are
Naddik [55]
Answer is: 0,275 moles of oxygen are consumed.
Chemical reaction: 2Mg + O₂ → 2MgO.
n(Mg) = 0,550 mol.
n(O₂) = ?
from chemical reaction: n(Mg) : n(O₂) = 2 : 1.
0,550 mol : n(O₂) = 2 : 1.
2n(O₂) = 0,550 mol.
n(O₂) = 0,275 mol.
n - amount of substance.
