A swimming pool, in the shape of a rectangular prism, is 50 meters long, 25 meters wide, and 3 meters deep. A liter is the same

as 0.001 cubic meters. How many liters of water are needed to completely fill the pool? I understand half of this question. You have to find the volume of the swimming pool by using B x W x H, which is 50 x 25 x 3 = 3,750 meters. What I don't understand is how to covert 750 meters into liters. Help...?

To find liters from meters, multiply the meters by 1000. 1 meter equals 1000 liters. So, the answer would be 375000 from 3,750.

P.S. IF you meant 750, then it's 750000

Graph the system of equations. <br> −x+2y=−8 <br> 3x−y=−6
Evgen [1.6K]

Answer:

x = -4, y = -6

Step-by-step explanation:

-x+2y = -8

3x-y = -6

x = 2y+8

3(2y+8) - y = -6

6y + 24 -y = -6

5y = -30

y = -6

x = 2(-6)+8 = -12+8 = -4

x = -4, y = -6

Find the cosine of the angle between the planes x+y+z=0 and 4x+3y+z=1.<br><br> Answer: cosθ=
marta [7]

The angle between the planes is the same as the angle between their normal vectors, which are

<em>n</em><em>₁</em> = ⟨1, 1, 1⟩

<em>n</em><em>₂</em> = ⟨4, 3, 1⟩

The angle <em>θ</em> between the vectors is such that

⟨1, 1, 1⟩ • ⟨4, 3, 1⟩ = ||⟨1, 1, 1⟩|| ||⟨4, 3, 1⟩|| cos(<em>θ</em>)

Solve for cos(<em>θ</em>) :

4 + 3 + 1 = √(1² + 1² + 1²) √(4² + 3² + 1²) cos(<em>θ</em>)

8 = √3 √26 cos(<em>θ</em>)

cos(<em>θ</em>) = 8/√78
