Pretty sure physical, a chemical change would be something of the time of acid rain, meanwhile physical changes are the ones that affect the form not the actual chemical composition

What must be the distance (in meters) between a point charge q1 = 16 μC and a point charge q2 = 32 μC for the electrostatic forc
adoni [48]

Answer:

d = 0.71 meters

Explanation:

It is given that,

Charge 1, q_1=16\ \mu C=16\times 10^{-6}\ C

Charge 2, q_2=32\ \mu C=32\times 10^{-6}\ C

Electrostatic force between charges, F = 9 N

Let d is the distance between the charges. The electrostatic force between the charges is given by the product of charges and divided by square of distance between them. Mathematically, it is given by :

F=k\dfrac{q_1q_2}{d^2}

d=\sqrt{\dfrac{kq_1q_2}{F}}

d=\sqrt{\dfrac{9\times 10^9\times 16\times 10^{-6}\times 32\times 10^{-6}}{9}}

d = 0.71 meters

So, the distance between the charges is 0.71 meters. Hence, this is the required solution.

what is the difference between Earth's magnetic and geographic poles? how do navigators take advantage of this?
irinina [24]
-Geographic north and south poles are determined by the earth's spin.

-Magnetic north and south is determined by the direction a compass points.

Hope this helps,

The atomic number of magnesium is 12. This means that its nucleus must contain
lana [24]
<span>The correct answer is D) 12 protons and no electrons. This is correct because the number of protons in the nucleus of the atom is 12. The number of protons in the nucleus represents the atomic number. Therefore if there are 12 protons in the nucleus, the atomic number is 12.</span>

Calculate the limit of resolution for the oil lens of your microscope. assume an average wavelength of 500 nm
natima [27]
The resolution of a microscope is the distance with the shortest measurement between two different points given a specimen  with the premise that it can still be seen clearly or distinguished by the one looking through the microscope. It can be calculate from the ratio of the wavelength of the light and twice the numerical aperture or the refractive index of the lens. Most of the microscopes have a numerical aperture ranging from 1.2 to 1.4. Resolution and the numerical aperture are indirectly proportional so that as the aperture increases the resolution would decrease. We calculate as follows:

<span>Resolution = wavelength / ((2) (numerical aperture))
Resolution = 500 nm / (2 ) ( 1.25) = 200 nm  = 0.2 um</span>
