I think there are more protests in modern day times rather then in the earlier time periods, because people are now more aware of their rights, and how they influence the way their country is run. Also, nowadays most countries are democratic, meaning that everyone can express their opinions and people protest as a way of expressing their opinions about something.

If <3 and <4 are vertical angles and m<3=9x+5 and m<4=5x+33 find <4
KatRina [158]

Answer:

68 degrees

Step-by-step explanation

If <3 and <4 are vertical angles, then <3 = <4

This means that

9x + 5 = 5x + 33

9x - 5x = 33 - 5

4x = 28

x = 28/4

x = 7

Since <4 = 5x+ 33

<4 = 5(7) + 33

<4 = 35 + 33

<4 = 68 degrees

Hence the measure of <4 is 68 degrees

If the graph of the linear equations in a system are parallel what does that mean about possible solutions of the system?
professor190 [17]

Since, the system of linear equations are parallel

so, they will never cross or intersect each other

And we know that

solution can only be found if both lines intersect atleast one point

But here , lines are parallel

so, they never intersect each other throughout number line

Since, they never intersect

so, we won't get any common value between both lines

Hence,

There is no solution...........Answer

The actual Mount Rushmore carving was made from a scale model with a scale of 1 inch = 1 foot. On the model, Teddy Roosevelt's m
IRISSAK [1]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The carving was made from a scale model with a scale of 1 inch = 1 foot. This means that one foot on the actual carving is represented by one inch on the model. So the model is smaller than the actual carving.

On the model, Teddy Roosevelt's mustache was 1 foot by 8 inches long.

We would convert the 1 foot on the model to inches because the model is represented in inches

12 inches = 1 foot

This means that on the model, Teddy Roosevelt's mustache was 12 inches by 8 inches long. Therefore,

Teddy Roosevelt's mustache was 12 feets by 8 feets long on the monument or carving
