Heat (q) is energy that is transferred from one object to another because of a temperature difference between them.

Temperature is the average kinetic energy of the particles in a substance.

Temperature plays part in heat, and heat is dependent on temperature.

Temperature is absolute while heat is relative. The direction of heat always travels from the warmer object to the cooler! Hope this helps!

Answer:

a. Value of MA is always lesser than VR because mechanical advantage decreases due to the friction and weight of moving parts of the machine.

b.Efficiency of lever is never 100 or more because it will always lose some tiny (sometimes immeasurable) percentage of power due to the lever bending.

c.Because it helps to apply more torque.

d.Because the upright snip has the blades rotated 90° from the handles.

e.because some of the input work is used to overcome friction.

f.because the load arm is always longer than effort arm.

g.because the effort arm is always longer than load arm of these Lever.

h. because if the effort distance is greater than load distance there will be magnification of force and the metals could easily cut.

i. because the wheelbarrow's wheel and axle help the wheelbarrow to move without friction thus making it easier to push or pull.

What is kirchoff s law???
kolbaska11 [484]
There are two laws named for Kirchhoff.  The both concern electrical circuits.
Here they are in my own words:

1).  The sum of the voltage drops around any closed loop in a circuit is zero.

2).  The sum of the currents at any single point in a circuit is zero.

Some ideal gas is constrained in the V"part of anadiabatic container of volume V" V$. The rest of the container is vacuum. When
solmaris [256]

Answer:

Using the log combination rules to reduce the famous Sakur-Tetrode equation, The change in entropy is given as:

∆S = NK*ln(V"V$/V").

Where V"V$ is final Volume (Vf) after constraint's removal,

V" is Initial Volume (Vi) before constraint's removal.

Temperature (T) is constant, Internal Energy, U is constant, N and K have their usual notations

Explanation:

Given in the question, the container is an adiabatic container.

For an adiabatic contain, it does not permit heat to the environment due to its stiff walls. This implies that the Internal Energy, U is kept constant(Q = U). The temperature is also constant (Isothermal). Thus, the famous Sakur-Tetrode equation will reduce to ∆S = NK* In(Vf/Vi).

Vf is the volume after the constraint is removed(Vf = V"V$). Vi is the volume occupied before the constraint is removed (Vi = V")

1/12 of 1/3 is what fraction?
Misha Larkins [42]

\frac{1}{36}

Explanation:

Given problem;  \frac{1}{12} of \frac{1}{3}

 The of word is used in mathematics determine how much of something is a part of another.

It simply translates to the mathematical operator of multiplication (x or *).

To solve this problem, we simply multiply both fractions to find how much of \frac{1}{12} is \frac{1}{3}

Solving gives;

    \frac{1}{12} of \frac{1}{3} =  \frac{1}{12} x \frac{1}{3} = \frac{1}{36}
