You have to find the number that can be divided into 24,12 and 18. That number would be six. Now we need to look at the exponents s^3 s^4 and s you cant only take out 1 s because 18s doesnt have more than 1 so the final answer would be 6s

A business has two loans totaling $85,000. One loan has a rate of 4.5% and the other has a rate of 6%. This year, the business e
butalik [34]

Answer:

$30,000 and $55,000

Step-by-step explanation:

If 4.5% loan is x, and the 6% loan is y, then:

x + y = 85000

0.045x + 0.06y = 4650

Solve the system of equations with substitution or elimination. Using substitution:

0.045x + 0.06(85000 − x) = 4650

0.045x + 5100 − 0.06x = 4650

450 = 0.015x

x = 30000

y = 55000

An account earns simple interest.

$1800 at 6.5% for 30 months
Vikentia [17]

A = P(1 + rt)

Where:

A = Total Accrued Amount (principal + interest)
P = Principal AmountI = Interest Amount
r = Rate of Interest per year in decimal;
r = R/100
R = Rate of Interest per year as a percent;
R = r * 100
t = Time Period involved in months or years

Calculation:

First, converting R percent to r a decimal
r = R/100 = 6.5%/100 = 0.065 per year,
putting time into years for simplicity,
30 months ÷ 12 months/year = 2.5 years,
then, solving our equation

A = 1800(1 + (0.065 × 2.5)) = 2092.5
A = $ 2,092.50

The total amount accrued, principal plus interest,
from simple interest on a principal of $ 1,800.00
at a rate of 6.5% per year
for 2.5 years (30 months) is $ 2,092.50.
