jeyben [28]
Hello!

This is the chemical reaction for the Haber Process:

N₂(g) + 3H₂(g) → 2NH₃(g)

From the chemical coefficients in this reaction and the molar masses, we can write the following conversion factor to calculate the grams of nitrogen that are needed to produce 325 grams of ammonia:

325gNH_3* \frac{1 mol}{17,031 g}* \frac{1 mol N_2}{2 moles NH_3}* \frac{28,0134 g N_2}{1 mol N_2}=267,29 g N_2

So, there are 267,29 g of N₂ required to produce 325 grams of ammonia.

Have a nice day!

Which of the solutions have greatest osmotic pressure 30% sucrose 60% sucrose or 30% magnesium sulfate?
timofeeve [1]

Answer:Osmotic pressure is the minimum amount of pressure a solution must exert in order to prevent from crossing a barrier by osmosis. Solute molecules have difficulty crossing semipermeable membranes, so the more solutes that are in a solution, the higher the osmotic pressure will be. Between 30% sucrose and 60% sucrose, 60% sucrose will have a greater osmotic pressure than 30% because it has a higher percentage of solutes. However, since sucrose has a higher potential to cross semipermeable membranes and is more absorbable than magnesium sulfate, magnesium sulfate would have a higher osmotic pressure than 60% sucrose even though 60% sucrose has higher molecules.

Xylem contains specialized cells that provide support for a plant stem. how does the structure of one of these cells help it car
zepelin [54]

Answer:

Xylem is the specialised tissue of vascular plants that transports water and nutrients from the plant–soil interface to stems and leaves, and provides mechanical support and storage. ... The water‐conducting xylem cells provide an internal hydrophobic surface facilitating water transport as well as mechanical strength.
