Explanation:

As it is given that the element contains a total of 8 electrons. So, electronic distribution of this element will be 2, 6.

That is, there will be two electrons present in first shell and there will be six electrons present in second valence shell.

Here, we also get to know that this element contains 6 valence electrons hence, it is a group 16 element.

Thus, we can conclude that if an element contains 8 electrons then 6 electrons will be placed in the 2nd valence shell.

If an element contains 8 electrons, then there would be 6 electrons that will be placed in the 2nd valence shell. Each shell in an atom can only take up a fixed number of electrons. For the first shell, only two electrons can be found. For the second shell, it can hold up to 8 electrons. However, for this case only six electrons can be found since the others are found in the first shell.

Answer:

36365.4 Joules

Explanation:

The quantity of Heat Energy (Q) released on cooling a heated substance depends on its Mass (M), specific heat capacity (C), and change in temperature (Φ)

Thus, Q = MCΦ

Since, M = 45.4 g

C = 3.56 J/g°C,

Φ = 250°C - 25°C = 225°C

Q = 45.4g x 3.56J/g°C x 225°C

Q= 36365.4 Joules

Thus, 36365.4 Joules of heat energy is released when the lithium is cooled.

Chose the two factors that work together to create the global wind patterns that operate in the atmosphere.
grin007 [14]
Global wind patterns are mainly determined by unequal heating of the earth's surface, changes in air pressure, and earth's rotation. Change in air pressure: Air mainly circulates due to change in air pressure. It moves from a region of high air pressure to the region of lower air pressure.
