Answer:

62353.8 N

The direction of the force is along + y axis

Explanation:

A triangle with equal sides definitely has the same angle; If the angle is x & we have 3 angle in a triangle, then :

3x = 180°

x = \frac{180}{3}

x = 60°

Now; half of it = \frac{60}{2}

= 30°

Evidently;  θ = 30°

NOW, the electrical force (magnitude and direction) exerted on the object at the top corner due to the two objects at the base of the triangle can be determined by using the formula:

F = \frac{2kq^2}{L^2} cos \theta

F = \frac{2*9*10^9*(-2.0^2)}{1.0^2*10^6} cos 30^0

F = 62353.8 N

The force is directed along + y axis due to the positive charge on the force and since the force is being exerted at the top corner to the base.

A person throws a ball straight up into the air with a speed of 7.3m/s. How high does the ball go?
Colt1911 [192]

Answer:

2.6645m

Explanation:

applying motion equations we can find the answer,

v^{2}=u^{2}  +2as

Let assume ,

u = starting speed(velocity)

v = Final speed (velocity)

s =  distance traveled

a = acceleration

by the time of reaching the highest point subjected to the gravity , the speed should be equal to zero

we consider the motion upwards , in this case the gravitational acceleration should be negative in upwards (assume g =10 m/s2 downwards)

that is,

v^{2}=u^{2}  +2as\\0=7.3^{2} -2*10*s\\s=2.6645m
