                                        -10  =  -10  +  7m

Add  10  to each side:      0  =          7m

Divide each side by  7 :    0  =          m

Please take a second and just LOOK at the equation you started with.
It says:

--  You have this number '-10' .

--  Your number  -10  is going to be exactly the same size
     after you add 7 of something to it.

The ONLY way that could happen is if the 'something' is 'nothing' .

       ' m '  must be nothing.

To find the value of m you need to change the equation so it is x=m. First, we do inverse operations. Since multiplication came first, we do it last. So, -10 becomes +10. You add 10 to both sides. You get 0=7m because -10 cancels itself out. Then you divide by 7 on both sides. You get 0=m. You get this because 0 divided by 7 is 0. To check your work insert 0 into m's place. -10= -10 + 7(0). You get -10=-10. Now you know that m does indeed equal 0.

How to reduce into simpler terms.?
Sveta_85 [38]

Answer:

The simplest form of the fraction \frac{45}{100}  is  \frac{9}{20}.

i.e.

\frac{45}{100}=\frac{9}{20}

Step-by-step explanation:

Here are some simple observations regarding how to reduce a fraction into simpler terms:

  • A fraction is reduced to lowest or simplest terms by finding an equivalent fraction in which the numerator and denominator are as small as possible.
  • In order to reduce a fraction to lowest or simplest terms, divide the numerator and denominator by their (GCF). Note that (GCF) is also called Greatest Common Factor .

So, lets take a sample fraction and reduce into simpler terms.

Considering the fraction

\frac{45}{100}

\mathrm{Find\:a\:common\:factor\:of\:}45\mathrm{\:and\:}100\mathrm{\:in\:order\:to\:cancel\:it\:out}

\mathrm{Greatest\:Common\:Divisor\:of\:}45,\:100:\quad 5

\mathrm{Factor\:out\:}5\mathrm{\:from\:the\:numerator\:and\:the\:denominator}

45=5\cdot \:9\mathrm{,\:\quad }100=5\cdot \:20

so

\frac{45}{100}=\frac{5\cdot \:\:9}{5\cdot \:\:20}

\mathrm{Cancel\:the\:common\:factor:}\:5

     =\frac{9}{20}

Therefore, the simplest form of the fraction \frac{45}{100}  is  \frac{9}{20}.

i.e.

\frac{45}{100}=\frac{9}{20}

Un deposito de agua tiene forma de prisma rectangular con los lados de la base de 25 y 20 metros. Calcula la altura que pueda co
serious [3.7K]

Answer:

Entonces, siendo:

Volumen= longitud*ancho*altura

Y reemplazando los valores se obtiene:

1000 m³= 25 m* 20 m* altura

Resolviendo:

1000 m³= 500 m²* altura

altura=\frac{1000 m^{3} }{500 m^{2} }

altura= 2 m

<u><em>La altura del depósito para que pueda contener 1000 metros cúbicos de agua es 2 m.</em></u>

skad [1K]

Step-by-step explanation:

SAS is Side - Angle (between the sides) - Side

BC and CD are shown to be congruent with the markers that cross the line segments.

AC and AC are the same because they are the same.

The only things needed are the congruent angles between the sides.

The angles are ACD and ACB, because those are the angles between AC and BC and AC and CD.
