To find the value of m you need to change the equation so it is x=m. First, we do inverse operations. Since multiplication came first, we do it last. So, -10 becomes +10. You add 10 to both sides. You get 0=7m because -10 cancels itself out. Then you divide by 7 on both sides. You get 0=m. You get this because 0 divided by 7 is 0. To check your work insert 0 into m's place. -10= -10 + 7(0). The are of a square is so 9 root 2 is since the formula says that a need to be squared so we need to square 9 root 2 which would be or another way would be to turn 9 root 2 into a decimal then you would square that number just like we did in the first example which would give you then all you have to do is round to the nearest tent then you would get as an answer
i would agree that this step requires to much work so just stick with the first way to do it.
