The Ideal gas law equation is pV=nRT

It is the combination of 3 laws  

Boyle’s law pV=kT

Charle’s law \frac{V}{T}=k

Avagadro’s law \frac{V}{n} = k

Where k is the constant.

k have been replaced  by R and it is called the gas constant.

The value of R depends on the unit of p and V

For example R=8.314if p is in kpa and V in L \ or\ dm^3

R= 0.08206 if p is in atm and V in  L \ or\ dm^3
